THE  PROMPT Cover ADVANTAGE:

• The entire process can be completed within 4 hours and provides the city with protection at a fraction of the usual cost to event holder.
• Municipality Insurance Services, Inc. is responsible for all underwriting decisions and works directly with the event holder.
• Municipality Insurance Services, Inc. provides proof of coverage to the event holder and the participating city, county or public entity.
• The PROMPT Cover participant no longer has to be concerned with collecting the premium, we collect it directly from the event holder.
• Monthly reports are provided to the participating city, county or public entity noting the type of event held, location and premium charged. In the event of claims being made, a report of claims activity would also be provided each month.

HOW DOES THE POLICY WORK?   

The city/county/public entity would be the Named Insured on a master policy issued by the insurance company covering a large variety of events. Guidelines would be customized to fit your particular needs.

When the event holder contacted the City for a permit or permission to use a City facility, they would be informed of the insurance requirement and offered the opportunity to access the master policy.  Our office provides a simple handout with a toll free number for the event holder to call for additional information and a quotation. We then either mail the event holder a formal quotation, or or collect the premium from the Insured and fax a certificate to the concerned City department indicating event coverage.
